>Pixel Art<

Welcome to the junk drawer! Despite what I just called it, this page is anything but junk. Here you will find works of pixel art, zoomed-in looks at some of my game design work, and other creative freelance work I've completed.

An Outstanding Friend
This is an animated loop I made of one of my best friends and their dog, Cooper. Soon, I shall have pixelated all of my loved ones, and they will be immortalized in the digital world.
Orben's Apothecary
Concept art for the video game Flowering, featuring Orben the medicinemaker and their faithful apprentice outside the apothecary shop.
This game takes place underground in a kingdom of insectoid citizens.

Walksheet and Portraits for Abnormal Adoptions
These images are for an RPGMaker MV game. The walk sheet was created using RPGMaker's base walking sprites as a base. The portraits were not used in favor of a more cartoonish style.

>Skill Tree Sample<
Coffee & Alchemy: skill tree for Goddess Ramira's shrine
To the right is an image of one of the skill trees for the unreleased game, Coffee & Alchemy. For this project, I acted as the lead combat instructor. This role had me creating the skill trees and working with the other designers to incorporate gameplay mechanics and level progression into the magic system's combat.
I also had the pleasure of making the pixel art for the skill tree's icons. Below the main image is a PDF outlining each of the abilities and a short blurb on the development process, as well as two icons for another one of this game's skill trees.

>Art for Abide in Love<
Trivia Game Board
I'd been hired as a freelance artist for Abide in Love, a non-profit dedicated to supporting the survivors of ICE and their families.
This project shows a mock game board for their trivia night fundraiser. They requested a simple line-art-esque style with splashes of watercolor.

Community Cookbook
I'd been hired as a freelance artist for Abide in Love, a non-profit dedicated to supporting the survivors of ICE and their families.
I was tasked with designing the cover for their community cookbook: a digital book filled with recipes submitted by the Kansas City community.
