Short Stories

As a writer who is constantly bouncing from story to story, short stories are a perfect way for me to hash out ideas in quick digestible pieces (well, quick is a bit of an overstatement, but you get the point).

"I doubt they even saw the extra stars hiding in the abstract folds littering their pocket of space. Those phantoms were reserved for me alone."

Below are stories that took a bit more of my devotion and a lot more of my obsession. Some of the pieces in here are teasers for larger stories but are self-contained (and tantalizing) enough to sink your teeth into.

Departed

"All days at Blue Valley are the same erosive torment, especially for Valorie Hughes, super senior and flunkee extraordinaire. Every class except basic biology is nothing but a public flogging."
